When should your child first visit the orthodontist?

We recommend having an orthodontist check the development of your child's teeth and jaws as early as kindergarten, between the ages of four and five. In a few rare cases, early treatment may already be necessary at this stage.

Certain misalignments of the teeth and jaws are best corrected early on with minimal effort. By tackling these issues now, we can often prevent the need for complex orthodontic work or even surgery down the road.
